Team Ibuprophen kit list 2010

Our evening meal was eaten alfresco.


Researching gear was all part of the fun for me,  a chance to express my inner geek. Its mostly based on the NAV4 recommendations and a spreadsheet Norbert gave me. Nearly all the kit was tested beforehand, on dog walks and training runs. I even used the Pocket Rocket and Ti mug to make my morning coffee in the garden, Yeh! I know its sad.

So here is the list;

  2. what! no total weight?!! i can understand not weighing the individual items-i leave that to jane. she has a very comprehensive spreadsheet for that!

    ...do you eat straight from the kettle or share a mug?

    We haven't got any scales but it was fine to run with so we must have done something right.
    We use the pot noodle bowls, cous cous and custard mmmmm.

  5. I'll lend you my scales! My inner geek runs free.

    Just back from doing backpack based on the 2006 LAMM routes, and apart from a few extra snacks, including a pack of chocolate filled crepes (you're supposed to microwave them, but they boil in the bag too...) I carried, the kitlists of the four of us were all in the same area as yours.

    One thing I do these days is swap some bandages and my duct tape for a roll of climbers finger tape, weighs nothing and it fixes hands, feet, tent and shoes :o)
    Oh, and the broken axle on my Radical Design Wheelie, but that's a whole other story...
