Sorry no weights, what do you think I am some kind of geek?
Haweswater |
did you test the tenner?
ReplyDeleteUC
ReplyDeleteNo but I have used one similar
what! no total weight?!! i can understand not weighing the individual items-i leave that to jane. she has a very comprehensive spreadsheet for that!
ReplyDelete...do you eat straight from the kettle or share a mug?
Where did you stash the beer?
ReplyDeleteKate
ReplyDeleteWe haven't got any scales but it was fine to run with so we must have done something right.
We use the pot noodle bowls, cous cous and custard mmmmm.
Simon
No beer on this one. The Saunders is much more civilised in that respect
I'll lend you my scales! My inner geek runs free.
ReplyDeleteJust back from doing backpack based on the 2006 LAMM routes, and apart from a few extra snacks, including a pack of chocolate filled crepes (you're supposed to microwave them, but they boil in the bag too...) I carried, the kitlists of the four of us were all in the same area as yours.
One thing I do these days is swap some bandages and my duct tape for a roll of climbers finger tape, weighs nothing and it fixes hands, feet, tent and shoes :o)
Oh, and the broken axle on my Radical Design Wheelie, but that's a whole other story...
